Research area
The Nanoscale Surface Chemistry Laboratory conducts research on developing new synthetic methods and surface chemical reactions for two-dimensional nanomaterials, including graphene, based on analytical and materials chemistry. The lab focuses on creating advanced optoelectronic materials with excellent properties. To precisely analyze the chemical and structural changes occurring during the synthesis or reaction processes of two-dimensional nanomaterials, the lab utilizes various surface analysis techniques (such as nanoscale microscopy and spectroscopy) to study the physical, chemical, optical, and electrical properties of these materials. Based on this fundamental research, the laboratory aims to propose new application possibilities by incorporating functional nanomaterials in energy, catalysis, and optoelectronic devices.
